QiGong can help alleviate pain and stiffness associated with arthritis, reduce inflammation, and promote better joint health. It is a mind-body-breath practice that focuses on cultivating and balancing the Qi (life-force energy) within the body. By integrating slow and gentle movements with breathing techniques, mind-focus, and a little self-applied massage, QiGong aims to remove energy blockages, increase circulation, and improve the overall flow of Qi.

Breathing exercises on their own have demonstrated benefits for individuals with arthritis!

  • Pain management

  • Stress reduction

  • Increased oxygenation

  • Improved mobility

  • Better sleep

for peace, tranquility, longevity, and health

QiGong is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit health practice that can help reduce stress and promote overall well-being. It helps to mobilize body fluids, increase blood-vessel elasticity, and improve the immune system, metabolism, and tissue regrowth.

Practicing Qigong regularly can help manage chronic conditions, prevent illness, and promote healthy aging. It can be done anywhere, even in short two-minute sessions throughout the day.

Join us for four hours and discover the QiGong experience as you explore and practice slow, focussed, enhanced breathing, apply various self-massage techniques, and lead your mind to inner awareness and calm, deep relaxation as we do movements from a variety of QiGong forms, including:

  • Eight Pieces of Brocade / Ba Duan Jing

  • Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa / Therapeutic QiGong

  • Health Vitality QiGong / Bu Zheng QiGong

  • The Nine Phases of Qi Cultivation
